Brow lamination has become one of the most popular brow treatments in Orlando — and once you see the results, it’s easy to understand why. At Orlando Brow Studio, it’s consistently one of our most-booked services, loved by clients across Colonialtown, Baldwin Park, Winter Park, Thornton Park, and the wider Central Florida area.
If you’ve been curious about brow lamination but aren’t sure what it involves or whether it’s right for you, here’s everything you need to know.
What Is Brow Lamination?
Brow lamination is a semi-permanent brow treatment that restructures and sets your brow hairs into a uniform, brushed-up position. Think of it as a perm for your eyebrows. The treatment uses a series of specially formulated creams to soften the brow hairs, reposition them into the direction you want, and then lock them in place so they stay that way for weeks.
The result is brows that look fluffy, full, lifted, and perfectly groomed — every single day, without any effort. You wake up and your brows are already done.

How Does Brow Lamination Work?
The brow lamination process at Orlando Brow Studio involves three key steps. First, a lifting cream is applied to the brow hairs to soften and open the hair structure, making it flexible and workable. The brow hairs are then brushed into the desired shape — typically straight up and slightly fanned outward for that signature fluffy, full look.
Next, a setting or neutralizing solution is applied to lock the hairs into their new position. Finally, a nourishing cream is used to close the hair cuticle and condition the brow hairs, leaving them soft, shiny, and healthy-looking.
We can also add a brow tint and/or brow wax at the same appointment to give you even more definition, color, and shape. The full appointment typically takes about 45–60 minutes.
How Long Does Brow Lamination Last?
Brow lamination typically lasts 6–8 weeks, though results can vary depending on your hair type, skin type, and how closely you follow the aftercare instructions. Coarser, thicker brow hairs tend to hold the lamination longer, while finer hairs may relax a little sooner.
Most of our clients at Orlando Brow Studio book a lamination every 6–8 weeks to keep their brows consistently fresh and lifted.

Does Brow Lamination Damage Your Eyebrows?
This is one of the most common questions we hear, and the answer is no — when performed correctly by a trained professional using quality products, brow lamination is safe and does not damage your brow hairs.
The key word is “correctly.” Over-processing — which can happen when solutions are left on too long or when treatments are done too frequently — can cause dryness or brittleness. At Orlando Brow Studio, Jada uses professional-grade products and precise timing to ensure the health of your brows throughout the process.
We also recommend nourishing your brow hairs with a conditioning serum or castor oil in the weeks following your treatment to keep them strong and healthy.
Brow Lamination Aftercare — What to Avoid
The first 24 hours after your brow lamination are the most important for aftercare. During this window you should avoid getting your brows wet, which means no showering directly on the brows, no swimming, no heavy exercise that causes sweating, and no steam rooms or saunas.
You should also avoid sleeping face-down, applying makeup or skincare products directly on the brow area, and touching or rubbing your brows during the first day.
After the first 24 hours, you can return to your normal routine. We recommend avoiding oil-based products around the brow area as these can cause the lamination to relax more quickly. A gentle, oil-free cleanser is ideal for washing your face throughout the 6–8 week period.
Who Is Brow Lamination For?
Brow lamination works beautifully for a wide range of brow types and concerns. It’s particularly well-suited for clients with unruly or multi-directional brow hairs that are hard to keep in place, thin or flat brows that need more volume and lift, gaps in the brows that fuller positioning can help minimize, and anyone who wants low-maintenance, polished brows without daily styling.
Brow lamination is not recommended for clients with very sparse brows (microblading or combo brows would be a better fit), those with active skin irritation or eczema in the brow area, those who have had recent brow tattooing within the past 4 weeks, or those with known allergies to perm solutions.

Brow Lamination vs. Microblading — Which Is Right for You?
The key difference is this: brow lamination works with the brow hairs you already have, while microblading adds the appearance of new hair strokes using pigment in the skin.
If you have a decent amount of natural brow hair but want it to look more groomed, fuller, and lifted without effort every day, brow lamination is probably your answer. If you have sparse, thin, or very uneven brows and want more dramatic fullness, microblading or combo brows will deliver better results.
Not sure which is right for you? During your consultation at Orlando Brow Studio, Jada will assess your natural brows and recommend the service — or combination of services — that will give you the best possible result.
