Body Sculpting Before & Aftercare Guide | Orlando Brow Studio

Non-invasive body sculpting delivers real, visible results — but how well you prepare before your session and how you take care of yourself after can make a significant difference in how quickly those results appear and how long they last. At Orlando Brow Studio in Colonialtown, Orlando, our licensed Body Sculpting Specialist Aiko Mora walks every client through this guide personally. Consider this your complete reference to before and aftercare for body sculpting treatments.

24–48 Hours Before Your Appointment

Stay hydrated. Drink plenty of water in the days leading up to your session. Hydrated tissue responds better to cavitation and RF energy, and water helps your lymphatic system flush the broken-down fat cells after treatment. This is the single most impactful thing you can do before you come in.

Avoid alcohol for at least 48 hours before your appointment. Alcohol dehydrates the body and can interfere with your lymphatic system’s ability to process and eliminate waste after treatment.

Limit caffeine. Excessive caffeine can temporarily affect circulation and increase sensitivity in the treated areas.

Eat light, clean meals. Avoid heavy, greasy, or high-sodium foods 24–48 hours before your session. A low-carbohydrate, anti-inflammatory diet in the days before supports better results.

Do not tan or apply self-tanner to the areas being treated for at least 48 hours prior. Avoid anti-inflammatory medications such as ibuprofen or aspirin unless prescribed by a physician, as these can affect circulation and treatment response. Shave treatment areas if needed — smooth skin allows tools to glide properly and ensures even coverage.

Day of Your Appointment

Arrive well-hydrated. Drink at least 8 oz of water before you come in. Wear comfortable, loose-fitting clothing in dark colors — treatment gel may leave light residue. Arrive with clean, product-free skin on the treatment area — no lotions, oils, self-tanner, or heavy moisturizers.

Eat a light meal 1–2 hours before your appointment — not immediately before, but don’t come in on an empty stomach. Avoid heavy exercise immediately before your session. Your body should be relaxed, not in recovery mode.

For new clients, Aiko will walk through your goals, target areas, and full treatment plan before beginning — in English or Spanish. Have any health questions ready for your consultation.

After Your Appointment

Drink water immediately and throughout the rest of the day. After a cavitation or body sculpting session, your lymphatic system is actively working to process and eliminate the broken-down fat cell contents. Water is the fuel that makes this process happen efficiently. Aim for at least 8–10 glasses on the day of your treatment and the day after.

Take a 20–30 minute walk within a few hours of your treatment. Movement significantly improves lymphatic drainage and helps the body eliminate faster. You don’t need an intense workout — a gentle walk is perfect.

Avoid hot showers, saunas, and hot tubs for 24 hours after your session, as heat can cause temporary sensitivity in treated areas. Avoid alcohol and heavy, high-sodium meals for 24–48 hours post-treatment to support your lymphatic system’s work.

Skip high-intensity exercise for the remainder of the day after your session. Light activity is encouraged, but let your body focus on elimination rather than recovery.

Important Considerations

Body sculpting is not a weight loss solution. These treatments are designed to contour, smooth, and firm — targeting stubborn areas that are resistant to diet and exercise. Clients who maintain a healthy lifestyle will see the best and longest-lasting results.

Results are cumulative. Each session builds on the last. Most clients begin seeing visible changes after 3–4 sessions, with maximum results at 6–9 sessions. Sessions should be spaced 5–7 days apart to allow your body time to process between treatments.

Body sculpting is not recommended for clients who are pregnant or breastfeeding, have a pacemaker or metal implants in the treatment area, have active skin infections or unhealed wounds in the treatment area, or have a history of cancer, severe diabetes, epilepsy, or heart disease. If you have any medical concerns, please consult your physician before booking.

Pro Tips for Better Results

Drink 8–10 glasses of water daily throughout your entire treatment series — not just on appointment days. This is the most impactful habit you can build between sessions.

Dry brush between sessions. Spend 5 minutes before showering brushing toward your heart to stimulate lymphatic flow and improve circulation in treated areas.

Maintain a low-sodium, low-sugar diet during your treatment series. High sodium causes water retention that works against your contouring results. High sugar promotes fat storage.

Take progress photos every 2–3 sessions in the same lighting and position. Results happen gradually and are easy to miss day-to-day — photos will show you how far you’ve come.

Commit to your full series. Clients who complete their recommended number of sessions consistently report significantly better results than those who stop early. The investment compounds — each session makes the next one more effective.
