Classic vs. Korean Lash Lift — Which One Is Right for You? | Orlando Brow Studio

A great lash lift is one of the most satisfying beauty treatments there is — you walk in with straight, flat lashes and walk out with a wide-eyed, effortlessly polished look that lasts for weeks. No extensions. No daily curler. No mascara required if you don’t want it.

At Orlando Brow Studio, we’ve taken that one step further. We offer two distinct lash lift experiences — each using a different professional formula, each designed for a different set of priorities. Our goal is simple: match the right treatment to the right client, every time.

Here’s an honest breakdown of both options so you can walk into your appointment already knowing which one is right for you.

Option 1 — Classic Lash Lift (Boo Beauty)

Our Classic Lash Lift uses the Boo Beauty professional line — a traditional thioglycolate-based formula that has been the industry standard in professional lash lifting for years. Thioglycolate works by temporarily breaking the disulfide bonds in the lash hair, allowing the lash to be reshaped around the silicone rod before those bonds are reset in the new lifted position.

In plain terms: it’s a proven, fast-acting formula that delivers a bold, dramatic curl with efficiency. Processing times are shorter, and the lift is strong and defined.

Best for:

Clients who want maximum curl and a bold, wide-eyed result. Those with healthy, resilient lashes that have never been chemically processed or who lift infrequently. Anyone who wants a fast, efficient appointment and loves a dramatic look.

What to expect:

A shorter processing time, a defined curl, and beautiful results that last 6–8 weeks. This is a fantastic service — bold, reliable, and delivered by a professional who monitors timing carefully throughout.

Option 2 — Korean Lash Lift (Buff Lashes Cysteamine System)

Our Korean Lash Lift uses the Buff Lashes cysteamine system — a premium, next-generation formula that represents a meaningful upgrade in both chemistry and lash care.

Cysteamine is an amino-acid-derived ingredient that works at a lower pH than traditional thioglycolate formulas. This lower pH means it processes more slowly and more gently, making it significantly harder to over-process the lash. The window of safe processing time is wider, giving the lash structure more breathing room throughout the treatment. Beyond just lifting, the Buff Lashes formula is enriched with keratin proteins and nourishing botanical extracts — so while your lashes are being lifted and set, they’re also being actively conditioned and strengthened.

Think of it this way: the Classic Lift reshapes your lashes. The Korean Lift reshapes and nourishes them at the same time.

Best for:

Clients with sensitive eyes or skin. Those with finer, more delicate lashes or lashes that have been previously processed or colored. Regular lash lift clients who book every 6–8 weeks and want to protect their long-term lash health. Anyone who wants the most premium, nourishing experience available and sees their lash lift as an investment in their lashes — not just a treatment.

What to expect:

A longer, more meticulous appointment — because the formula processes more slowly and the application requires more precision. A beautiful, natural-to-dramatic curl depending on rod size. Lashes that feel noticeably softer and more conditioned after the treatment. And the confidence of knowing that with every lift, you’re actively caring for your lash health, not just styling it.

The Korean Lash Lift is priced higher than our Classic Lift — reflecting both the premium formula and the additional time and attention each appointment requires. For clients who lift regularly or who prioritize the long-term health and integrity of their natural lashes, it’s an investment that pays off with every appointment.
