Here's a little secret: Orlando Brow Studio isn't just near Colonialtown — it literally sits right in it, tucked between Colonial Drive and the Milk District off Bumby. Which means when you come in for your appointment, you're already in one of the most walkable, shop-filled, eat-well neighborhoods in the city.
Colonialtown has everything — premium matcha, craft coffee, great food, killer happy hour, bowling, and more shopping than you can get through in one afternoon. Here are my personal picks for making the most of your visit.
🍵 Premium Matcha — Matcha Cafe Maiko
If you're a matcha person, Matcha Cafe Maiko is a must. It's one of the only spots in Orlando doing premium Japanese-style matcha right — rich, properly bitter, not overly sweetened. The matcha soft serve is incredible, and the seasonal drinks are always worth checking out.
It's a small spot and it gets busy, but the staff moves fast. Perfect before your appointment if you want something lighter, or after as a little treat to celebrate your fresh brows.
📍 Matcha Cafe Maiko — 639 N Mills Ave, Orlando, FL 32803 | Open daily 8AM–9PM (10PM Fri–Sat)
☕ Craft Coffee — Haan Coffee
Haan Coffee is right on Colonial Drive and honestly one of the most beautiful coffee shops in all of Orlando. Korean-inspired aesthetic, stunning interior, and the coffee is genuinely exceptional — their flavor pairings are creative without being gimmicky.
It's the kind of coffee shop that makes you want to slow down and actually enjoy the moment. My recommendation: the Pistachio Cream Latte or whatever seasonal drink they're running. Fair warning — it gets busy, so go at an off-peak time or plan to take it to-go.
📍 Haan Coffee — 1235 E Colonial Dr, Orlando, FL 32803 | Mon–Sat 7AM–7PM, Closed Sunday
🍽️ Lunch — Two Spots Worth Knowing
Smoke & Donuts — BBQ + Donuts (Yes, Really)

Smoke & Donuts is exactly what it sounds like and so much better than you expect. Proper smoked BBQ — brisket, turkey, pork belly — and craft donuts in the same spot.
The staff are some of the friendliest people in the neighborhood, and they'll often throw in pork rinds and donut holes on the house while you wait. It's a 4.7 star spot for a reason.
📍 Smoke & Donuts — 601 N Primrose Dr, Orlando, FL 32803 | Mon–Fri 11AM–2:30PM + dinner Tue–Thu from 5PM, Fri–Sat until 11PM, Sat–Sun from 10AM
À La Cart — Food Hall Vibes

À La Cart is an outdoor food hall concept right on the border of Colonialtown and the Milk District — multiple food trucks, great craft beer selection, and a really fun open-air atmosphere.
It's the kind of place where everyone in the group can find something they want, and the outdoor space makes it feel relaxed and social. Great for a laid-back lunch or an early dinner.
📍 À La Cart — 609 Irvington Ave, Orlando, FL 32803 | Open daily 11:30AM–10PM (11PM Fri–Sat)
🎳 Happy Hour + Fun — Primrose Lanes

Primrose Lanes is the full package — happy hour drinks, bowling, great cocktails, live music, karaoke, arcade games, two bars, and food that actually delivers. The vintage aesthetic is perfectly done and the energy is always good.
Show up for happy hour and stay for a few rounds of bowling — your fresh brows deserve a proper night out.
📍 Primrose Lanes — 400 N Primrose Dr, Orlando, FL 32803 | Mon–Thu 3PM–12AM, Fri–Sat 11AM–1AM, Sun 11AM–12AM
🛍️ Shopping — Plenty to Explore on Colonial Drive

One of the best things about being in Colonialtown is how much shopping is right on Colonial Drive. Whether you have 20 minutes or two hours, there's something to browse.
Sprouts Farmers Market is great for fresh groceries, health foods, and snacks. Marshall's and Ross are perfect for a browse if you're looking for a deal on clothes or home goods. Barnes & Noble is a two-floor dream — huge selection, a Starbucks inside, and the kind of place where an hour disappears without you noticing. And if you're in the market for home furnishings, the Wayfair Outlet on Colonial is worth checking out.
📍 Sprouts — 2530 E Colonial Dr | 📍 Marshall's — 2642 E Colonial Dr | 📍 Barnes & Noble — 2418 E Colonial Dr | 📍 Wayfair Outlet — 3206 E Colonial Dr
